More Hell Dorado

It has been a while since I have posted anything here and it's mostly because my free time has all but eaten up by day-to-day life and also working on Laurence Amoitte's Hell Dorado for Strange Aeons Magazine.    

This latest instalment is the second to last of the story and is gearing up to a huge confrontation between the mysterious gunslinger, Shaine, and General Arakiel with his demons straight from Satan's army.      

This instalment will be featured in Strange Aeons #9 and will be available to order at their website.

Broken Machine - Logan Art Gallery

Last night was the opening for my solo show, Broken Machine, at Logan Art Gallery.

Broken Machine is a series of surreal and humorous prints and paintings based on one of my comic ideas about a character called Kiko and her journey as she withdraws from reality into her own fantasy world.

Recent Work & Website Update

 Here are a couple of new ones that I will be using for a new project. I'll post more details and pics along the way along with updates from the Hell Dorado comic for Strange Aeons Magazine.

Together these projects are going to keep me very busy over the next few months.

Kiko's Machine

 My latest submission to Danger Daze is a four page comic titled Kiko's Machine. It is an abbreviated version of a story I have been playing around with and hope to expand sometime into a full length comic.

I won't give too much away just yet, but to get an idea you should grab a copy of Danger Daze issue 8.

Danger Daze Issue 8

Issue 8 of Danger Daze will feature yet another cover collaboration. This time the contributors are myself and Kazumi Daido.

Hell Dorado & Website Update

Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything. Don't worry, I'm still here.

Most of my time has been spent working on the Hell Dorado comic for Strange Aeons Magazine.

The first installment to Laurence Amoitte's demonic western featured in Issue 5, which is now available at their website.

I am currently working on the second installment.

Strange Aeons & Awakener Review

Mike at Lovecraft eZine have posted a review for my Awakener comic which featured in Strange Aeons #1.

The review also mentions Bruce Brown's Howard Lovecraft & the Frozen Kingdom and Lee Davis' New Sister (also from Strange Aeons).

While we're talking about comics, I'm currently hard at work on Laurence Amoitte's Hell Dorado for Strange Aeons. A post-apocalyptic western full of vengeful gunslingers and demon outlaws. Keep a look out!

Hell Dorado

The upcoming issue of Strange Aeons will feature my new comic which is a prologue to a screenplay named Hell Dorado, written by Laurence Amoitte.

 

The scene is set in this post-apocalyptic western with a young boy disturbing a nest of zombies.

Enter the mysterious gunslinger to take care of the plague of undead.

Installments of Amoitte's Hell Dorado with be featured in future issues.

Mr Creaky

Mr Creaky is my contribution to the next issue of Danger Daze, which is due to come out later this month.

The story of Mr Creaky's visit to a young child's bedroom in the middle of the night seems quite sinister, but is really quite sweet depending on your point of view, I guess.
